Every year a team of brave souls brave the frigid Canadian winter in shorts with the goal of raising funds and awareness towards eradicating homelessness.
Every year in Toronto whether we like it or not, winter comes. The Neighbourhood Group Community Services is an organization that helps folks in Toronto who may be without a home or in need of support. This is at the heart of the Icy Knees cause and where any funds raised goes.
Who We Are
We have a warm home and office to go to, so we can wear shorts well into the winter.
We battle through the funny looks and cat calls so that others can stay warm.
What We Do
The snow can really sting the knees, but it’s all worth it because finding a home in Toronto and across Canada is stupidly expensive.
